Cookie policy
The Hospia website and platform only use the technical cookies strictly needed to sign in to the dashboard. We use no profiling, analytics or advertising cookies, nor third-party tools that track you, so we don't need to ask for your consent. On your first visit we only show a short notice, which won't appear again once closed.
This is a translation of the Italian policy, which prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. What cookies are
Small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next. Similar tools, such as the browser's local storage, follow the same rules.
2. Cookies we use

These cookies are only set when you sign in to the dashboard, are protected (not readable by scripts, sent only over encrypted connections) and are not used to recognise you on other websites. Being strictly necessary, they require no consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021).
On the website and in the dashboard we also use the browser's local storage, which is never sent to our servers, to remember whether you closed the cookie notice, the last property you opened and whether you dismissed the invitation to install the app. If you install the app on your phone, the browser keeps the page shown when you are offline and, if you enable them, your notification subscription: you can turn them off at any time in your phone or browser settings.
3. Property websites and template previews
The websites of restaurants, hotels and resorts built with Hospia have their own cookie policy, maintained by the property that owns them. Hospia's built-in visit statistics use no cookies. Google Maps, videos, analytics or advertising tools added by the property only run after the visitor consents through the website's banner.
The template previews you can open from this website work the same way: third-party content only runs if you consent.
4. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block technical cookies you won't be able to sign in to the dashboard; the rest of the website keeps working.
