FAQ

The answers you're looking for

Do I need to know how to code?+

No. Choose a template, replace texts and photos with the visual editor (you can even type straight onto the preview) and publish. If you like, our team helps you migrate your current website: pages, photos and redirects, so you don't lose your Google rankings.

Does Hospia replace my booking engine, PMS and channel manager?+

It can. Hospia includes the booking engine for rooms and tables, the planning with arrivals, departures, folio and invoices, and the connection to OTAs through a channel manager or iCal calendars. If you'd rather keep the systems you already use, the website's «Book» button can link to them.

How do payments work?+

With Stripe: payments go straight to your property's account, with prepayment, deposit or card guarantee. Hospia takes no commission on your bookings.

What about legal requirements?+

Police registration for Alloggiati Web, city tax, ISTAT statistics and e-invoices in FatturaPA XML are generated from your booking data. These are Italian requirements; outside Italy you can simply leave them off.

Can I use my own domain?+

Yes. The dashboard gives you step-by-step DNS instructions to connect your domain, with automatic HTTPS.

Is my data safe?+

Data is hosted in the European Union, with separate access for every customer, two-step verification and an activity log. Hospia acts as data processor under the GDPR.

Is the dashboard available in English?+

Your website, booking engine, QR menu and guest emails work in five languages (Italian, English, German, French and Spanish). The management dashboard is in Italian for now: the English version is on its way, and our team supports you in English in the meantime.

Is there a minimum term?+
